Our Testing Methodology

Every proxy provider we review undergoes the same rigorous testing process. We use real money to purchase plans, run standardized tests, and score providers on objective metrics. No paid reviews, no freebies accepted.

1

Purchase a Plan

We purchase a representative plan using our own funds. We test the full commercial experience including billing, setup, and onboarding.

2

Run Baseline Tests

10,000 requests across 7 target sites of varying difficulty: Google, Amazon, a social media platform, e-commerce site, news site, travel site, and financial data site.

3

Measure Performance

We track success rate, response time (p50, p95), failure types, IP ban rate, and geographic coverage accuracy.

4

Test for 30 Days

Performance varies over time. We run tests at different hours and days to capture variance in pool quality.

5

Evaluate Support

We submit 3 support tickets testing response time, technical knowledge, and willingness to resolve issues.

6

Calculate Value Score

We calculate a value score combining performance, price, pool size, and support quality into a single 1-10 rating.
